Alfri has spent his entire career working in artisan bakeries across Central and East Java, perfecting his craft day after day. What drives him? One simple obsession: making the perfect stroopwafel. 

He works with a secret Dutch recipe, continuously tested by a Dutch community to make sure the taste, texture and quality meet absolute top standards – crisp on the outside, soft and gooey inside. Not too sweet, not too dry.

From his own bakery in Denpasar, Alfrie bakes every stroopwafel to order, using traditional gas driven Dutch cast-iron stroopwafel iron.
